SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you register to use Wrapal.com (“Website”), and agree to our Terms of Service, we collect the personal information you give us such as your email address, name, phone number, property address, property photographs, profile pictures, social media links, and other information that you input into our Website.  Your information is stored in our database. 

This personal information that you give us will not be sold by us without your prior approval.

Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Site and Services, features and content, to administer your use of the Website (together, the "Service") and to enable users to enjoy and easily navigate the Website.

All users of the Site and Services, which may contain your name, email address, your posted Locations, and any locations you have provided as a “Favorite”. We will display your Profile Information in your Tancek Account profile page publicly via the Site. Any information you choose to provide as part of your Profile Information will be publicly visible to all Tancek users, and you should judge accordingly which content you wish to be presented to Site users. You can review and revise your Profile Information at any time.  We publish all Listings through the Site, and identifiers of location and Listing characteristics may accompany the published information.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

Your consent to collect your personal information and to sell your personal information is obtained when you agree to register for our Website and agree to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.  When you provide us with personal information, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you register for the Website and give us your personal information you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to continue collection of your personal information by contacting us and notifying us.

Your consent allows us to use your information for our own marketing purposes, such as sending out emails for new deals or information. 

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4- LINKS

When you click on some links on our Website, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements before using their website. We are also not responsible for the privacy policies of Stripe and the company we use to provide you with insurance.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure your personal information is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

Our database of information collected is also secured and not available to the general public.

We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored "personal data" (as defined in applicable state statutes on security breach notification) to you via email or conspicuous posting on the Site in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the Website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will note on here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

SECTION 8 – ACCESS OF THIRD PARTIES TO PERSONAL INFORMATION

•   with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

•  if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.

SECTION 9 – DATA RETENTION

We will retain your personal information for as you are registered on our Website and for a reasonable time thereafter.

We also use your personal information to contact you with our newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided. Please note that we may also use your Personal Information to contact you with information related to your use of the Service; you may not opt out of these notifications.

We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of the assets of the Site and Services, including your Personal Information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, assets sale, or in the event of bankruptcy.  We will notify you in writing if this is done. 

SECTION 11 – SPAMMING

Users of our Website will not be sent any unsolicited commercial emails.  In the event such an email is sent, please notify us immediately.   

The Website will send you e-mails, but no unsolicited third-party emails will be sent without notification.

SECTION 12 – ACCOUNT CLOSURE

At any time, you may delete your account by going into your account settings and following the instructions. 

SECTION 13 – COOKIE PRACTICES

We may set and access cookies on your computer and you consent to this upon you accessing our Website and agreeing to the Terms of Service. 

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, information includes using cookies on a computer, subjecting the information to statistical or other analysis and using or handling information in any way, including, but not limited to collecting, storing, evaluating, modifying, deleting, using, combining, disclosing and transferring information within our organization or among our affiliates within the United States or internationally.”

SECTION 14 – SHARING

Users of the Website, including but not limited to, guests, hosts, customary viewers of the Site, etc., have the ability to “share” a Listing or Location on the Site by use of a “share” link.  This “share” link functions as a promotion of the Listing on the user’s own social media account, email account, or other online medium.  We protect the identifying information and all information in the listing, but we do not involve ourselves with “shared” content accompanying the listing or location which was written or produced by the user on the user’s social media, email account, or other online medium.

SECTION 15 – VENDOR SERVICING

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf or to perform Site-related services including but not limited to Site maintenance, database management, web analytics, fraud and identity protection services, Site cosmetic and functionality improvement, and any transfer of published information for use in mobile devices (i.e. mobile applications and mobile pages).

These third parties may have access to your personal information; however, third party access is the sole purposes of carrying out the actions listed in this paragraph.  The third parties will not disclose any personal information.

SECTION 16 – PHISHING

We take identity protection from theft and “phishing” very seriously. We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information (if provided), your account ID, login password, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication.   If you get any such email or phone call asking you for this information, you should ignore it and not provide the information. 

SECTION 17 – GOVERNING LAW; ARBITRATION

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and any dispute arising from this Policy shall be adjudicated by JAMS Arbitration in Los Angeles County.  The prevailing party shall be entitled to its reasonable attorney’s fees and costs in such a proceeding.
